Hello! My name is Cheryl and this is my blog!  A couple of years ago it started as a place just to write my thoughts, but over the years (and three cameras later), it’s somehow transformed into a place where I’ve shared more PHOTOS rather than just the thoughts!

A bit about me?

My primary job is as a nurse in labor & delivery. I’ve been working in this area for 6 years now and full time for the past year…hence the lack of blog posts during this time. BUT, there has been a piece of me that’s truly been missing photography recently, and I hope to be a bit more ‘up-to-date’ on this site. I don’t know where the next season will lead me, but I’m hoping that photography might make a re-appearance, however that may look!

Aside from this?

I love to travel, have been to Africa a handful of times, and have a long list of places that I still want to see in the world.

I would love to work overseas (longer-term) at some point and have done some short term volunteering.

I LOVE a cup of coffee.

Vineyards make me content…I’m not so much a wine connoisseur as much as an avid wannabe though…

I live in Vancouver, British Columbia and am growing to appreciate this city more and more…
